Piano Lessons
The piano is one of the most rewarding instruments to learn, offering countless benefits that extend far beyond music. From developing cognitive skills and enhancing creativity to building confidence and discipline, learning the piano is a journey that positively impacts all aspects of life.
Pianos tap into all three main learning styles – visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Learning piano incorporates sight, sound, or touch. It can serve as either an end point or a gateway to your child’s musical journey. Tell us more about your child to find out more about the program best suited to their interest.
One reason that pianos are great for students is the immediate feedback loop. Strike almost any chord on a piano and it produces a pleasing sound. With its keys laid out in front of a player, playing the piano makes learning music more visual and less abstract.
The technical and creative elements of teaching piano are already a challenge. To these hurdles, for young children, add in different:
- attention span
- innate skills
- discipline
- individual ways of learning
- confidence
- attitude
