With nearly a decade of teaching experience across prestigious music institutions in the New York metropolitan area, Ruihan is deeply committed to nurturing the unique strengths of each student. Her instructional approach masterfully balances solid technical foundations with a joyful exploration of music, tailoring lessons to all ages and skill levels—from early beginners to advanced students. Under her guidance, students not only cultivate robust musicianship and technique but also develop a lifelong passion and deep appreciation for the art of music.
As a Steinway Education Partner since 2019, Ruihan has achieved an impeccable 100% pass rate for her students in ABRSM and NYSSMA examinations, and has successfully guided advanced students into top-tier programs, including The Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music Pre-College. Described as a “precise, insightful performer,” she has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician at world-famous venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and major concert halls in China. Ruihan earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Manhattan School of Music under full scholarships, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Rutgers University, continuing to expand her dedication to both world-class performance and elite music education.
