Will Heintz
Drums
Will Heintz is a percussionist from upstate New York with a background in drum set and classical percussion. He is currently pursuing his masterās degree in Percussion Performance at Purchase College, SUNY. Will was a percussionist in the Yarn/Wire Institute at Stony Brook University in summer 2018, and performs in Purchaseās New Music Ensemble, Contemporary Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. In his downtime, Will plays in rock bands, self-records music, and dabbles in computer coding.
Francesco Perrouna
Drums
Francesco Perrouna is a seasoned music educator and performer who has dedicated the last 15 years to nurturing young musicians to develop and enrich themselves through music performance. A drummer, bassist, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and an accomplished vocalist with a focus on technique and the physiology of voice, Francesco believes that being a musician dictates positive changes throughout all aspects of life. He has directed hundreds of rock performances for students of all ages and has provided music education curriculum for 4000+ students over these last 15 years.
Chris Walker
Drums
Chris has been teaching private lessons for 10 years. He also currently works as the band director at a local public middle school. While he maintains his passion as a percussionist, he is also a dedicated teacher of beginning flute, clarinet, trumpet, and piano. Chris brings with him over 20 years of experience as a performer in a wide range of settings. His depth of knowledge covers all styles including jazz, pop, blues, funk, country and classical. His teaching approach encourages discovery of melody, harmony, rhythm through improvisation and exploration, alongside a solid foundation of rudimental and technical understanding. Chris is especially enjoys teaching young beginners on flute, clarinet, trumpet and piano, while covering all levels and genres on drum set and percussion. He is extremely excited to be a part of the Chappaqua community and to help make music a wonderful part of your childrenās lives!
